PlainPad 1.3.0 released
The new version of PlainPad is now available on the Mac App Store.
This update for PlainPad offers two exciting new features. On the one hand, a template can now be specified in the PlainPad preferences, which is automatically inserted when creating a new document. Everyone who has to work a lot with the same text structures can save one work step.
On the other hand, there is now the option of having unnamed, unsaved documents restored at the next start. This can come in handy for throwaway notes that are used across multiple launches of PlainPad but shouldn't be saved explicitly. In addition, these documents are immediately available the next time you start PlainPad.
New in this version:
New:
- new setting in Preferences to control if PlaidPad should open documents in single windows or tabs (macOS 10.12 or newer)
- new setting for specifying a text template, which should be automatically inserted in new documents
- new additional option for the setting "Prevent save dialog for unsaved changes" for unnamed documents so that they are restored at the next start of PlainPad
