MarkMyWords 2.12.2 released

MarkMyWords 2.12.2 is now available on the Mac App Store!

With this version, MarkMyWords adopts the new window design of macOS 26 Tahoe when used on this system. In addition, macOS 15 and macOS 26 now use new icons in the toolbar that match the general look and feel of newer macOS versions.
This update also offers various improvements and bug fixes that further enhance and refine the MarkMyWords experience. Among other things, TextButler has been given new ingredients, and importing CSV files as MultiMarkdown tables now works better and requires less rework.

New:

• MarkMyWords now adopts the new window design in macOS 26
• New toolbar icons for macOS 15 and macOS 26 that match the system’s look & feel

Improvements:

• Improved the command for the action “Move cursor to end of paragraph with line break”
• Fixed several layout inaccuracies in the sidebar and its elements
• TextButler: when creating a new recipe in the settings, it is now automatically selected
• TextButler – new ingredients: Uppercase, Lowercase, Capitalize, Basic HTML Entity Encoding and Decoding

Fixes:

• Fixed an issue where inserting markup via shortcut without selected text caused Undo to not fully restore the previous state
• Fixed an issue with showing/hiding the format bar
• Minor UI adjustments to correctly align certain elements under specific display configurations
• Fixed an issue when importing CSV files for generating MultiMarkdown tables when no table alignment was provided
• Fixed an issue when importing CSV files for generating MultiMarkdown tables where the presence of a header separator and missing aligners caused improperly aligned formatting
