HashGazer 1.2.8 released

#Gazer 1.2.8 is now available on the Mac App Store.

This update if #Gazer offers various improvements to the internal markup parser for the MultiMarkdown and MarkdownExtra languages. In addition, the internal parser for the MultiMarkdown language now supports a large portion of the metadata syntax.

The complete list of changes:

Internal Parser
MultiMarkdown:

• Support for metadata syntax
  • Metadata area is now recognized and no longer appears in the preview
  • Metadata is integrated into the HTML header
  • Support for the special attributes Title, Language, CSS, HTML Header, HTML Footer, MMD Header, and MMD Footer
  • Support for metadata variables ([%meta_tag_name])
  
  

MultiMarkdown & MarkdownExtra:

• Parser for definition lists completely rewritten to fix some bugs and issues in the previous implementation
• Fixes a bug with footnotes: when multiple source references pointed to the same footnote, assignment errors occurred
